Congratulations on your thorough response to the e diestel posting 508. Your obvious knowledge of the computer industry combined with your views on its future relationship with the internet helps to recognize that we are yet in the Model-T stage. While not mentioned in your posting, your readings have doubtless extended to the new advances in the Telecosm (the impact of the broadband wireless) as researched in the Gilder Technology Reports (reference: www.gildertech.com).

Thanks for your "humble" opinion.

To all:

While traveling through New York, I stayed overnight in Syracuse and found this being advertised on the local TV system. Looks like a sample of things to come. If anyone here is familiar with such services, could you let us know what you think?

Correction: Kistler Aerospace Corporation is the corrected company name; not Kistler Aerospace Industries as I have stated in post #513.

hi mr patience

for some reasonmy eyes did not catch your response

i think your reasoning is perfectly all right and am sure that you understand that my expression ' maybe in ten years ' is meant to mean ' not now, not in phase 2, maybe in a year or 2 '

when it happens PNLK will be well positioned due to their experience
and videoconferencing and wider spread use may resolve the ' trust ' issue.

today i sold my pnlk shares because i want to free my money to buy elsewhere - would i buy pnlk once the internet is ready for their concept ? yes, certainly. but the movement of the internet related market overall is too exciting for me to sit and wait for the slow unfolding of a new branch . therefore for now, without pnlk.

thanks for your thorrow and informative response - i concur

have a good week
