I found the Senate Committee hearings quite informative.It reinforced my belief that the International situation is the linch pin that will determine the extent of damage to the US economy.While I was glad to learn it is likely US phone service will not likely fail on 1/1/2000. I was concerned about corruption of remediated code by data transmiited from systems with problems. I commend Senator Bennett for the quality of the hearings and the abscence of partinanship.
