Oh, aren't we lucky to have "cad" on board. Another of these trial members who hop around polluting one board after another, dumping their garbage. Cad's first stop was here.

You are right, cad, you have not seen the technology. Too bad. But Intel, Hewlett Packard, Informix, and dozens of major of retailers have and they have chosen to embrace the technology. Several MODA investors, including at least one who is affiliated with a major mutual fund, have visited the company and viewed the technology and reported favorably.

HOWEVER, AFTER READING YOUR FACT-FILLED POST, I AM SURE THAT THEY ALL ARE WRONG AND YOU ARE RIGHT. Yes, indeed, you would be wise sell your shares at once (if you have any long) and move on. THANKS FOR SHOWING US THE LIGHT.

If, as you claim, you have held this stock since IPO, you got in at $5.00 per share plus warrants. The warrants were worth about $12.00 when they were exercised, and the stock closed today at $21.875. Not bad!

As to the contracts, most have nondisclosure agreements. Also, read the annual report. It sets out the company's strategy. It also mentions talks with IBM.

Cad. To be sure it has been a long choppy ride at best but I think I am gonna hang onto this for a little while longer. My reasons

1)I do a lot of investing/research/banking in this area. Big stuff so I can usually get a pretty good show from managements. While I haven't seen Moda's contracts I have a good feel for the types of deals they are cutting because one of the apparel analyst I work with covers several "Mall stores" and the deal is pretty straight forward. The Moda model provides both hits and data mining. It is a good deal the the "mall stores" know it. She says that almost all of the manufactures she covers have signed up with Moda.

2) I have seen the product demonstrated at length. In fact I was allowed to play on it for over 20 min. at an INTEL product development conference. I originally found this investment because the intel business development guy pointed it out to me about 7-8 months ago.

4) I find little reason to sell in front of the product launch. There is going to be PR, and media several times a week for the next couple of weeks. I know that all of the mall participants intend to provide their own advertising in order to drive participation. To sell now seems like you might be stealing defeat from the jaws of victory but to each his own.

5) With the supply drying up the techs are improving. I look for the shorts to continue covering.

Best of Luck everybody, Im betting long.
