If I was told to expect news no later than Monday. I would at least wait until after the close on Monday to hang my source. Some companies feel that Monday is a better day than Friday to release news. We don't even know in what line it is supposed to be. Could be a new country ok rather than the big we all want to hear about.

John,

No doubt Vivus will be sold. The question is when and for how much. The lawsuits continue to mount against Viagra and will continue to do so which can only help MUSE in the the future. All of Vivus's actions point to a buy out and not a partnership. They have sold their salesforce and many employees in other important positions. This all sounds to me like a company that has no desire to grow but is doing its final sweeping job to clean house before the aquisition.
