< Last news I read was early August. > CORRECTION Conversion cannot take place until both TLAB and CIEN stockholders agree. Both have meetings on Aug. 21. After that it is a bit murky. It involves a formal meeting between execs, where they raise champagne glasses and exchange papers/stock/executive-washroom-keys, and filing of the official papers in Delaware. All that takes place within 30 days following the Aug. 21 meetings. My guess ?? early September (all described in the 100 page proxy notice dated July 21)
