It appears those guys are starting out on the right foot.

I read in the NYT they hired a lawyer and are staying anonymous as long as possible. Both thoughts I had in the past if it were ever to happen to me. Except I would have thrown in an accountant as well.

Also, for a time they are staying at work while the lawyer teaches them about trusts, managing cold-callers, and what-not. Though I think that should include an accountant as well.

Money is tough though. As many times as you hear people tell you (jokingly) that they would be willing to give it a shot I can say from my own experience that sudden windfalls to people of low-income backgrounds can be a difficult thing to come to terms with emotionally.
