micro-diamonds or not... Luc Rombouts valued FALCs diamonds and using that value we can still determine the economics of the pipes... Just because we may not be churning out the largest macros for the rings millionaires buy their wives (and of course their girlfriends on the side...).... it doesn't mean that the diamonds are worthless.

I also do believe that there are some nice stones at FALC... they do use a more stringent 1 mm in 2 dimensions method of determining a macro (I believe the other companies use .5 mm in one dimension...) Those are diamonds that I think would like quite nice mounted on a gold band... *grin*

Although I haven't done a specific comparison for this purpose, I believe that if you were to look at the number of large macros coming from the NWT diamond mines that will soon be built and operating... they aren't exactly pulling out 50 carat + stones themselves! Actually, I think you'd find that for the most part there stones are similar to FALCs.... (somebody feel free to correct me if I am wrong on this - with "facts" of course...)
