Guy,

No new short interest. However, there were just some trades in the 50,000 share range at 17. Some excitement is building. The shorts are going to have a hard time pushing this below 16 today. I doubt that will happen.

Lastest short interest information from WSJ July 24, 1998:

2,744,196, up from 2,394,198, an increase of 14.6% from June 24.

IMO, no significant covering yet...perhaps an increase even.
