>>>I wonder, if the results were very favourable they might need a second verification. Time will tell. <<<

From what I heard is a small sample was sent to Ashton Vancouver and a larger sample was sent to Lakefield. I have been hearing so many stories and at this point it is best to not believe anything. The street rumors originated from the West, had people saying that counts are going to be lower than K14. I don't understand how this can be true if Ashton claims they have not received the Lakefield results yet. They may have processed the low count sample and sent the higher count sample to Lakefield. Time will tell if the street rumors are correct or Ashton indeed is doing a great job with K91. What still puzzles me is Ashton's comment about nine months ago that K91 IS THE BEST THEY HAVE SEEN TO DATE FROM ALL THE KIMBERLITES RESULTS IN ALBERTA AND THE MOST PROMISING PIPE. If it is low, they may have some explaining to do or be more careful in what they confirm to the public. regards Frank

<<Do you mean Tuesday or Wednsday at earliest, meaning another two weeks. I hope you meant Tuesday or Wednsday at the latest. I wonder, if the results were very favourable they might need a second verification. Time will tell. >>

No she didn't say at the 'latest'. So don't hold your breath. She was non committal enough that I wouldn't be suprised by Wed, Thur or Fri.
I think they double check most of the results in separate labs but this is a much bigger sample so I would assume that they have to do it in one spot. I am a bit confused -If you run it thru once and remove the diamonds -the only purpose of running thru again would be to catch whatever was missed. Therefore the results from the first run must be known and known for quite some time. If these results were good -why would they not release them and then also say that they were going to rerun the sample to try to increase it even further. ACA was negotiating with MEO at the same time as Kennecott was so I could see why they would keep K91 under wraps up until that deal was sewed up or lost. Maybe ACA has other negotiations going on that they wish to keep at these lower prices. JP
