Sorry, I goofed. .I don't think it changes much though. The possibility always
exists that they are culpable; more likely though, they are in the chain,
they have insurance, and they may have been caught short on there own DD.

Outside of the disadvantage in trading, what is the concensus - to call or not to call in certs. Let's see agent is listed as defendent. It is not a given that shares in a cash account could not be "borrowed". The MMs may be short a few shares. The shares are not restricted but identifiable. I do not KNOW the cert numbers for my shares. Could they be switched up? You may have trouble trading quickly if they are not in your account. But if I am truly long, that should not matter either.

I don't know. Still up in the air.
