NOT TRUE...with waterhouse..you have 3 days to "SETTLE" your account...thus you can sell them & mail/deliver them back 72hrs later. Dave What Janice is saying is you will not be able to mail them the certificate in 3 days because you have not yet received it. It's currently in transit to your possession, which in the case of MTEI took 2 weeks to get to my house. You are correct by saying once you have it you call sell your stock at anytime as long as you return the cert, which I had to overnight my MTEI cert by to my broker. Cliff
