I also have good response from Geocities, although its sometimes slow in the evening, because its heavily "recreational" users log on after work or school. I'm also on the East Coast, so I get the West Coast Load after supper. Its fast in the early AM, when the West Coast is not up yet and Europe is nodding off. Like you, Geocities was the first reliable show in town. I gave them a chance, they've not disappointed, and now my site is bookmarked and hit about 100 times a month and is noted from time to time in threads here, so why move? I'm continually impressed by their professionalism, ease of use, and ability to keep up with steadily increasing usage by adding services for the same price.
