Did he say why?

I show Lord Abbott & Co went from 663K shares to 918K shares as filed on 3/31/98. Percent holding of 4.43%

You are correct on TCW. They went from 1003K shares to 816K shares as filed on 3/31/98. Percent holding of 3.94%

With a 3/31 filing, my data may be stale. How current is yours?

Regards.

lbs: Agreed that 87,800 is a tiny position for Vanguard Capital. That's the good news. If TAVA delivers, that number can go up substantially with a fund like Vanguard. I'd rather see lots of small positions taken by big funds than huge positions already established since small positions indicate that the fund is watching and waiting for the company to deliver. Large positions indicate that the fund is watching and waiting for the time to take profits. And if Vanguaurd goes away, it will be quickly absorbed. TCW going away is a much more difficult proposition.
