Ed, I also bought a few shares today, only at 2 5/16, so you did better than I but agree with your comment that buying in the low 2's is a really good move long term. The most important thing to keep in mind is that the drop we saw today in our stock is not related to what is going on with DCI, it's a function of there not being enough buying to absorb all of the shares that NITE wanted to sell this afternoon. A MM can see the buy orders sitting at lower prices, so if NITE was for instance told by the seller to get him at least $1.75 there is nothing to keep him from dropping the price to pick up those orders. Note that I am not knocking anyone for putting in limit orders below the current price, the shares NITE wants to move have got to all be purchased before our overhead is gone again and at lower prices our investment $$ will purchase more of those shares. This week has been very educational to us. We got to see how our stock would react without any overhead for 4 1/2 days and then we got to see how quickly this can be unwound when the CC (unverified at this time, but given it's the end of the month, I am betting these are the Whyteburg shares coming to market) selling is back on top of us. I had also heard that bgtit, who has been looking after the Whyteburg shares for us each month was out of town today..I do believe this was a factor. If these are the Whyteburg shares, then there should not be many left for this month. I would like to pose a question to all to consider: Given the performance of DCTC this week up until this afternoon, where would our share price end up if the CC selling was off of us for a couple months? We already know how our stock performs when under the selling pressure from that group, I propose that we consider our options to deal with that selling pressure on a permanent basis. The most direct and positive measure IMO would be to arrange to repurchase all of the CC shares that are at all likely to come to market. I would welcome any other ideas.
