Here are my thoughts . . .

I have been buying NMGC at between 15 1/2 and 16 this week. My rationale is that 15 1/2 is the current lower support level for NMGC if you look at the chart.

That support level is confirmed twice -- 15 1/2 is around the area of the prior high, and it falls on the upward sloping line from the prior lows. Take a look and connect the dots -- the chart is very clean on this one.

NMGC has held very well at or above that support level for several days despite the market correction. Many other stocks, in contrast, have broken below their support levels on high volume and have started into periods of likely extended declines.

Given NMGC's relative strength and that the current support level is holding, I'm betting that NMGC will have a strong upward move once the general market regains its footing. We was evidence of this yesterday. However, if I'm wrong and the general market continues to head south and takes NMGC with it, there's not much risk with buying NMGC at current levels -- I always can sell for only a very minor loss if NMGC breaks below its support level of 15 1/2.

By the way, other stocks that are holding up well are CPQ and SIRN. Thier charts also look very positive for strong upward moves once (and if) the general market weakness shakes out.

Stevens Esq.-

No joke, the real life Jed was released from the hospital today, guess he's been quite ill. IF he recovers and IF he is now somehow tied in to NEO's stock price we should all watch the society pages very carefully. I'm sure the extra jet exhaust from the extra flights from the extra cheap oil from the extra extreme collapse of the oil sector has contributed to a larger then usual strain on the ozone which has invariably allowed this Jed Clampett synchronicity to occur. I am not a quantum physicist, yet, but it sure looks like the two of them are in orbit around one another much like conjoined twin pulsar's. I am also sure, that following this logic will make much more sense then trying to actually figure this market. And further, I predict that IF enough people read this post and buy laptops in an effort to reveal this connection more fully, then the price of NEO will rise in response to the huge volume of chip sales.

Imagine the lead stories by Joe K on CNBC: "In an incredible turn of events a simple post on a relatively obscure internet stock thread site, Silicon Investors Neomagic board, sparked what has turned into the largest one week sales numbers for the mobile computing market since their launch many years ago. Nothing less then one million units were sold each day for the last five business days, in Phillidelphia alone, nationwide 50,000,000 units were sold, internationally 100,000,000. Now get this, customers of all major brands both mail order with big names like DELL which has been unstoppable lately, as well as store purchases from the likes of CompUSA, which has been trying to turn a profit on falling margins, all stated that because of Buddy Epsomes illness and its linkage to Neomagics stock price they had to have a laptop to uncover the connection. Top analysts in the semiconductor sector are saying they have never seen anything like this. Neomagic is up 973% since yesterday, and last traded at $475.00. I'm baffled and predict it won't last, but then again, who'd a thunk I'd still be here all this time."

Though my account has been decimated, I have managed to hold on to my sense of cosmic humor and remain,

your humble Solid
