If my math is correct, about 15% of ASND's floating stock turned over today. I think alot of folks that still had profits bailed, so, the theory goes, we now have solidified our base to bounce off of. Also, regarding SRA, I like their financials - especially SRA's PE of 14. If ASND can leverage the technology and get some momentum behind the SRA side of the business... Painfully long on ASND, and in even more today.

Gary, I fully agree with you. Moreover,a lot of shorters must have jumped on the bandwagon ... Their short covering will be fun to watch on Monday. BTW,I myself am in the network industry (having worked for BAY network and ConnectWare before) but I still can't figure out why ASND would buy Stratus besides the reason you mentioned which are not compelling enough . Cuurently,ASND has projected growth of 35 % for the next 3 quarters, vs 5 % for Stratus.It is absurd to think of ASND buying Stratus the more I think about it. I may turn out to be wrong next week but until then,I don't believe such a buyout.No synergies and no compatibility. GL
