I can't speak for Datek, but the NASDAQ has nothing to do with whether or not M$FT is unmarginable. The Naz was only down 47 points today. It's been down much worse than that before, what would be so special about today? Furthermore they would be talking about it on CNBC right now if that was the case. It must be something internal with Datek.

BTW, if Datek made stocks like M$FT unmarginable today intentionally they will lose a ton of credibility with the street. I will never open an account with them if they pull a stunt like that.
