Wouldn't you almost have to be tied into a SOES provider?

If you want to preference different market makers etcetera, yes. I have been trying, probably in vain, to keep my tools modular so that I could swap out underperforming pieces without disturbing the whole. I've also come to like $9.95 trades and have difficulty doubling commission costs. Further, I am suspicious of setups that encourage the customer to perhaps 'overtrade.' (MBT and others will give you the LII feed if your trading volume is sufficiently huge.) I have been trending, in my own trading, toward swing trading and away from scalping. So I am not certain I need all the tools that MBtrading offers.
