Hey guys, I'm out of the market now, but my next position will be short or in puts. I see another crash/correction coming between now and Nov, just not sure when. I wouldn't go so far as to say this great bull market is over for good, but it's on holiday, let's say. I think we may get to 8000 on the dow. Of course, if I had been a little quicker on my feet I could have made some fast money shorting almost anything in the last couple of weeks. I'm hoping for some kind of last gasp rally to setup for another great shorting opportunity but it looks like the market is too tired for that. One thing I know for sure though is that this bull market won't go without a fight. That's why, come Oct or whenever we have a 5% down day, I'll probably buy calls and hope for a quick triple. Even if this is the end of the bull, after a big down day I'm sure we will bounce back at least temporarily. No way we just go down and down and down without some semblence of a recovery. Also, I think that the last year a lot of the money entering into the market will turn out to be from foreigners. Thus Americans are going to get hurt less than the pundits expect by any downturn and it's going to be the foreigners as usual, like in the late 80's real estate collapse, who get hurt the worst. The Japanese are now buying US stocks: could there be a more bearish pronouncement? Also, I think this thread is about to get to be incredibly popular again. I love the smell of Napalm in the morning!!!
