An increase in the short interest is typically read as a bullish sign by analysts. Someone's gonna have to cover those shorts. Don't be discouraged. My read is that all the bios, especially the small and micro's, are out of favor. It's a broad trend having nothing to do with this stock's fundamentals.

RE/short interest/ The 20,000 of short interest is much more than likely the market makers. Market makers quite regularly short shares in order to create a market and they don't have the restrictions of only shorting on an up tick. I believe no one is shorting triby at all.
