Results from my phone call to local Glidden/ICI store: Hi everyone. I called my local Glidden/ICI store here in Sarnia, Ontario. I believe I was talking to the owner. I asked him (Bill) if he heard of Hydrastrip 500. He said: no, it doesn't ring a bell. I asked if he has heard of Hydrasol 700. Now that, he said, rings a bell. Bill: " I just got in 2 10 litre pails somebody else requested. I got them from the London store ( London, Ontario )". I asked Bill if he had any 1 litre bottles. No he said, only the two pails. I asked how much they were. He went and checked, and when he got back he said:"WOW, I'm mortified. it's $120.00" ( for the 10 litre pail ). Who asked for it, I asked. Bill: " one of the local rail car maintenance companies. They want to try it for cleaning out the rail cars. It is supposed to be a lot better than the stuff we are currently selling ". Bill also acknowledged that it is water soluable, and benign. I am going there on Tuesday ( the earliest I can get there, work SAturday, Toronto Sun-Tues morn ). Summary: Hydrasol 700 costs about $12.00 / litre. - expensive Local rail car maintenance comapny is informed - very good The product is now making its way down the pipe - also very good Hydrastrip will soon follow - very good We do not yet own Aquasol - not good at all :-( ( but will soon ;-) ) Party time ( very good ), Al work at 07:00 tomorrow - not good
