The public is always going broke for one reason or another . . . fleecing them is one of the main ways "the rich get richer and the poor get poorer." Most everyone is in the middle anyway and 'investment' is a form of entertainment, albeit an expensive one at times. The government won't do a thing to help the average person in the case of a market collapse. And why should it? I think your stake in the U.S. is safe . . . no need to head for Bermuda! And if you look around the world you will find there are way worse places to be than the U.S.

Regards
