Dan, all, I just got in to check today's close. When the monitor came on a huge image of DAMIEN'S ugly-ass face filled the screen (like Marley on Scrooge's door) smirking...and smelling bad. I knew it wasn't good news. Well, it is a big disappointment but at least we can get better. DAMIEN is stuck with that scaled over, butt-ugly excuse for a face. We did close over $2 and it's hardly over kids. *One thing does puzzle me though about market makers....** Why can't such soulless creatures, who would readily suck the life blood out of a baby if it meant a profit, be required by the SEC to (at least) have an EKG to determine if having a beating heart is requisite to being considered human? If not, my contention is that they may very well be Borg and (if so) we'd (at least) be able to comprehend their total lack of commiseration and blinding avarice towards anything even approaching noble. There. Now I feel better. Onward, George *...and their mothers too!

I've never traded or even seriously followed any AMEX companies. EXACTLY THE POINT!!! Who will look at DCI if they move over there? . The AMEX is a Specialist System. Go to the "NEY" BB on S.I. and read about specialist systems. They do NOT show their hand, like the NASDAQ MMs do. They TRADE AHEAD of your orders (did you read about the on-the-floor front-running scandal a few months ago at the NYSE?). You can place a BUY at the ASK and they can IGNORE YOU. You can place a Market Order and they can jerk the price to anywhere they want to. . You can place a stop loss order, and when no one is looking (lunch time, perhaps), they'll trade to themselves, dropping the price a couple points, grab your stop loss order, and then bring the price right back up. And there's not a thing you can do about it - EXCEPT LEAVE THEM THE HELL ALONE. . Colin
