Bill, As you probably know Trimble has created a seperate division just for surveying. As Trimble rolls out new products this business could be a 30 %/yr grower. Right now GPS is another powerful but limted tool in the surveyors tool box. The next generation of GPS surveyors will have integrated optical total stations and lasers(based on recent Trimble patents). So it could become the primary or perhaps the only tool in this huge worldwide market. Besides Surveying, the following billion+ markets are emerging Mapping Mining Construction Agriculture Marine hydrography exploration and construction Mobile positioning OEM Timing Aerospace Military The potential is certainly there. Trimble's Success will depend on how well employees and managers of the company execute in driving and creating these markets.
