Hitesh, the Arris line from Cascade (technology) will be incorporated in the TNT 2 (if I recall right). Why not just buy the SS7 part only ?. Why not have a partnership?. Why get 2,000+ employees, dilute earnings, etc when all this could be avoided by a simple partnership. Why not get accquired by Lucent, why not merge with someone... Why Why does my 1 year gains disappear in a couple of days???.... Lets see what happens Monday.... I have a vague feeling that this may reverse itself and ascend may get acquired on Monday.... Rumors have reversed sometimes. It was a rumor that tellabs would be bought by CISCO. Tellabs turned around and bought CIENA... Sigh..... Maybe in your words "from the coms board", if Mory wanted to stop a takeover by Lucent (by making it unattractive) Petsmart would have been a good option... Happy 3COMMING with Ascend. I am out of this stock if it hits my breaken.... Immi
