David, thanks, but I fail to see the difference. When it's a thread I bookmarked, it takes me to the "correct" post, which, as you say, is the first one unread by ME.

In the case of a person, I would think that their profile would be considered like a thread by the SI utility that allows us to be notified of "NEW" posts. How is the list of their posts on their profile page any different than the list of posts in any one thread.

Hey, it's certainly no biggie, I was just wondering why there's an extra step involved with bookmarked people as opposed to bookmarked threads. I just thought if it could tell me that there are new posts by a person that I haven't yet read, it would act as it does with new thread posts.

You know I've always deferred to you in these matters. It's just that I'm one of those who are inquisitive by nature.

Just wondering.....
