Bertrand, I agree with most of your points and appreciate your comments.
- They have a very good cash position.
- It is a growth industry with lots of mergers to come.
- The stock has really sold off how much lower can it go.
- CS is a good name.
I agree with all your points except on Benson. If he had what it takes as manager CS would have never dropped to these levels. Lets see who is going to have a faster recovery CS or COMS and NN. If you look at the chart of CSCO, BAY, ASND, NN, ... they all have done better than CS. As long as I have know this management they either had an empty promise or a warning.

What about the 3+ billion of network gear that Compaq has to buy from CS over the next three years? (Network World, a few issues ago, contractual obligation acquired with the Digital buy)

That's a couple of bucks.
