OK another THINK DIFFERENT question before a Mr Clinton news weekend

Does " Challenge conventional thinking " sound like a IBM-i-fied "THINK DIFFERENT" ?

I THINK so -- and guess what former IBMer is think'n diff'nt ? The man who got Mr Clinton elected :

" Challenge conventional thinking" is the motto prominently displayed on the website of Perot Systems Corporation and this is precisely what the company's chairman and chief executive H Ross Perot does best.

The maverick Texan billionaire, best known for joining the US presidential race in 1992 when he secured 19 per cent of the vote, does not tend to the orthodox. "

But does he really think different ?

With Ireland's Wintel only policy and Mr J's niceness to keep assembling iMACs in Ireland , can "H" Ross Perot make a DIFFERENT ?

Mr Perot could join the re-birth of AAPL and indicates this when he states:

"If you read Genesis you will see Noah was 450 years old when he built the Ark. I'm just a boy," he says in his soft, southern drawl. "

At age 70 , could Mr Perot join the re-birth of AAPL ? Sounds like age won't stop him stating:

"If you read Genesis you will see Noah was 450 years old when he built the Ark. I'm just a boy," he says in his soft, southern drawl. "

we are basically stuck in the late 80s in terms of OS development.

Yes we are, and Linux is not much better in that sense. It is a very good port of BSD Unix to the Intel architecture, but as far as I know has very few new capabilities.
