Yes, I've heard this many times... I'm not that uninformed. However does the SRA acquistion may ASND any less attractive. Better said, because of the SRA acquistion there is now so much product overlap that LU is no longer interested? I find it hard to believe that ASND could fill out their product line so as to fully overlap with LU enough to make the acquistion unpalatable all for a measly $800M.

Rather, I suspect that this was a defensive move (insurance as it were) by ASND just in case LU doesn't come a-court'n in October. ASND needs to continue to assume a going concern until such time as they agree to terms with LU or anyone else. To do anything else but would be suicidal. However, once again, I don't think the purchase of SRA makes ASND any less attractive to LU who would love to have ASND's core products.
