Thanks for the NT heads up and evaluation of Viper/multimonitors

I am leaning more towards Win NT.

>>but here's some good news<< ----Matrox vs Diamond

Matrox has developed NT drivers that allow multiple monitors using any combination of the Matrox Millenium I and II, and the Mystique. Matrox allows up to four monitors , as does the Viper, in NT. And as you know, Viper requires you to use only Viper PCI cards in a MM setup in NT.<<

Sounds great. Since NT will support more than 2 monitors and
Viper and Mystique cards are getting very cheap, I will go with
Windows NT.

Does anyone have a preference:
Diamond Viper: Looks really good.

PCI 128 chip 4 SGRAM 230 Ramdac $99 - $20 rebate = $80

Matrox Mystique: 220 ramdac 64 chip 4sgram - $50

Besides price and hardware, who has the best drivers?
Diamond doesn't allow you to set different resolutions
on each monitor, and it doesn't remember where you left
the programs on each screen once you turn it off. I wonder
if MATROX's new NT drivers give you more control. Anyone
who is using the NEW NT drivers and any two matrox cards, could you
respond?
