Joe CMP. new observation. CMP broke a 9 YEAR downtrend on 7/29/98. Connect the highs from 7/11/89 and 6/10/98 and extend the line to the right. this is significant. Would like to see some of the indicators a bit stronger but overall CMP is setting itself up for a good year. short term CCI 13 is overbought so set tight stops if your trading it. Last time CCI 13 was OB CMP ran for 2 more days then based out of its overbought status. I may just base out of it this time but, more than likely a retest of some support below current levels will take place. Probably in the earnings sell off we have seen so often this season. Weekly sell signal which I talked about yesterday has been reversed to a weekly buy as of Friday. Overall I give CMP a clean bill of health for a solid long term hold. ht david IMO of course, please do your own DD before making any investment decision.
