More like completely ignorant. Someone knows something that the rest of us don't right now. Two ideas. 1. This is some sort of pump and dump fakeout. 2. We are about to be acquired. (Dow Jones & Reuter's) are possibilities. I have checked a few news sources and their website and see nothing new today. rod

Market Maker - heard a whisper The day of earnings Volpe Brown downgraded NEWZ. He was selling for the last few days. Then all of a sudden, right before my eyes, he was buying as much as he could and as fast as he could, even if it meant pushing the bid up on himself. Volpe Brown really follows this company. If he gave a downgrade and the next day he is pushing the stock higher and higher and higher and higher, well, it doesn't take a genious to figure out Volpe caught wind of something REALY BIG at the end of today's trading and he had to go agaist his own downgrade. If Volpe is on a huge buying spree, shouldn't we? I'm just waiting for whatever the "whisper" Volpe heard to materialize into a fabulous nexz release, maybe after it is halt sometime next week. If there was a buyout, who would be the most likely suitor? If there is a buyout, NEWZ will gap and just keep going! I just consider myself lucky to be owning shares going into Monday. Regards, S.W.
