Greetings Dll, Glad you were able to see the use of the word " move " in it's proper Hebrew meaning. Thank you Father for your faithfullness and lovingkindness towards us , thy children. Very briefly to touch on Amos 9:15; Amos was a prophet of Judah during the reigns of Uzziah, King of Judah and Jeroboam 11, King of Israel between 790-735 B.C. Amos message was primarily to the Northern Kingdom, Israel languishing in moral decay. Prior to Amos , God had sent Elijah, Elisha and Jonah but to no avail to try and stop the ruin of this nation. God then sent Hosea and Amos as the last attempt to call Israel back from its appointment with death. ALL of AMOS happened BEFORE Christ. DLL, Consider the use of the word " Forever " when used in the Old Testament. We know that the " Passover " was a memorial forever as was " Circumcision ", but in actual effect they have been done away with and transcended by something far greater. Our Passover now is through the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, while our circumcision is of our hearts by the Spirit of God. ( New Birth ). The former were just foreshadows ( in the natural ) of something far greater and majestic( in the spiritual ). Also consider Dll, that Abraham, who after God had promised him all the land,( Gen. 13:14-16)that he had shown him, never received the land, because he had to buy a piece of this land to bury his wife. Abraham never did own any of this land, He was looking for a city which has foundations , whose builder and maker is God. ( Heb.11:8-10 ). My brother we will discuss all these verses later, but for the present let us pursue and learn from the final runner of the relay race, Daniel, and what he reveals about the arrival of the one of greatest events of all time; the coming of the Messiah as was promised to Abraham. I will close of here Dll and await any of your most welcomed responses. I should be able to find some extra time tomorrow afternoon to continue our study. I very much enjoy our dialogue and trust that God can and will conform us to the image of His Son, which is our hearts desire. Lets us therefore descend into greatness as the Holy Spirit would lead us. may God Bless you and keep you and grant you a good sleep until we meet again. Robert
