To all.....Just a little update on the Matagorda prospect for some of the "newbies" and perhaps even some of the "oldbies"....lol.....As Anyone already stated, the "potential" is really not potential at all....But a "Proven" reserve.......That is in the Miocene....The three existing (sanded) wells were producing.....The idea now is to drill new, at what is believed to be an even better spot.....The Miocene contains Gas...There is no ? about that......Even in a worse case scenario, the technology today, would permit re-entry to the three existing locations without the sanding problem becoming a factor....SO, we have a DEFINITE....The only ? mark is the FRIO which is at about 12,500 ft......That has never been drilled....however, again, the seismics look EXTREMELY promising.......When you combine the MIOCENE with the FRIO......You have, frankly, a mindboggling scenario.........I should have an update tmrw on Matagorda...and possibly a little more on the strippers......GO NTAH!!!!!!!....Peace
