I expect a good bounce off of 8250 or so on the dow as that represents a strong support area. The bounce off of this area will probably present us with the last chance to load up on some interesting positions.

I talked with Bob Prechter today and he almost guaranteed we will be getting one more upmove..not sure what wave it was though...

Re:

<<It never came out till a couple years ago, But the General in Cuba did not have good communications with the Kremlin, and
stated as fact, had we launched the assault the hawks wanted, He would have had no choice but to counter with nuclear weapons, and they had 18 of them loaded and cocked, and was ready to use them>>

This is fascinating. I would like to read the whole account if it is in a book or some such. Of course, JFK was vilified for not launching that attack but it was probably one of his few profiles in courage since he had to restrain the macho impulse and image and take it on the chin. Though I would imagine he and some advisors had some inkling that the Cubans had, or might have had, some armed devices, but who knows. Quite incredible and scary given the enormous pressure JFK was under to launch a broader attack.

It's easy enough to imagine the Cuban general at his short wave radio or phone hearing his Kremlin advisors perfectly while shouting "Can't hear you. Speak up. Your fading out. ..... What's that?.... can barely hear you but we will launch missiles as directed. .....You're fading again...Goodbye."
