Bork on Microsoft. This interesting link showed up in Yahoo this Friday: zdnet.com Since I hadn't seen it here, I thought it might be a worthwhile (though extremely long) read for people in the group. -Bruce. P.S. As my membership expires soon, and I haven't even made 10 posts (let alone outstanding ones), I guess I'll be back to lurking in a week.

After that, the earth's magnetic field naturally degausses the floppy and erases it! We have people storing their entire department's files on floppies! Why! They need never use a flopy again! All are software is installed from the servers! All our mail and file transfers are again from servers! The servers are backed up on Optical Disks (life expectancy of about 80 years). When someone loses a file, they expect us to recover it? Floppies should be banned! Besides, it's not Steve Jobs who started this!
