mang,
coms will come back. it will take 2 quarters to get back credibilty with wall street. its no fun what eric has done, mismanaged
stuff after touting the usrx merger. last year it was the same
gloom and doom, and it did take 2 qauters to get back to 40-45 after
the intel price cut. coms failed at executing a merger. so did ascend.
unfortunately i am in coms from jan of 97 at 70, and in ascend old
cscc from last year at 52. both ways i got creamed. the point is that
ascend has recovered & now with the stratus issue it may be in the
dumps back again... lesson... make money and run. the technology
cycles & mergers etc are very very risky... I have been there before
when the coms thread had so much activity that we were waiting for
a stock split... Come eric with his smooth talking gib. every article
/cnbc had him on. where is he now????. hiding I presume... All the
usrx guys should be kicked out of COMS. they sold there stock last
year immediately. don't tell me they did not know the channel was
stuffed?. Regards, Immi...
(It takes one misstep to break credibilty on wall street)...

>>Just read thro' two whole days of asnd thread, that sure made some pretty interesting readings.<<

Yeah, I did some of the same on friday. Very strange...even
though the stock is dropping, there may be another side to
the story.

>> One interesting observation is that the posters there almost never posted here and vice vera. I guess asnd and coms are just two stocks representing two totally different valuation models.<<

Not entirely true. I see lots of ASND people come over...some
stay longer than others. They are interested in seeing what's
going on with COMS, but I get the feeling that most don't want
to get burned twice after what happened in ASND, but also, lots
see it as a potential profitable situation.

Some of their posts mention COMS, but not much. Their
products don't overlap a whole lot is the reason I attribute
this. COMS more lower end and ASND is vice versa.

>>I feel so despair that coms is so cheap yet it still keeps on dropping.<<

Yeah, discouraging, but I don't see fundamentally anything
negative, so I attribute the stock movements to the stock
markets ways. There are lots of times the market makes no
sense at all. Right now, the entire market seems on shaky
ground, if you ask me.
