Robert,

First, I think thread gives an excellent introduction. However, I should have included the latest SEC filing:

www4.edgar-online.com

Second, this is a stock of the future. The thread that you normally post to seems to be fixed on the past.

Further, your last post on that thread seems to be an attempt to bring the stock down. Personally, I don't have a problem with that since I don't own the stock. Hopefully, those people who read the thread that I started will wait until you get the price down lower before they buy. However, MGMA is making a lot of moves and the person who waits too long may miss out on the rewards.

I think it is peculiar for one to think that it is in the best interest of an investor to only have one thread for a stock.

MGMA had a video in the top 10 for Sales in June 1998 according to AVN. They were ranked fourth.

However, buy looking at the last nine months of ranking it is apparent that MGMA has a lot of competition in this part of its business. In fact while MGMA did appear in the rankings in June, some of their competitors were in the ranking each month.

In MGMA's defense, MGMA is a young company and they are concentrating on growing and establishing their more mainstream businesses.

"The Company released 278 videos and films in fiscal 1998, an increase of 47% over the prior fiscal year. The Company intends to further increase its release schedule to 387 titles (a 39% increase) in fiscal 1999 to accommodate recent licensing agreements the Company has entered into with New Frontier Media, Inc. and Cable Entertainment Distributors."

I am not sure that quantity is the key to success unless they are trying to create a product for all markets and want to be a one stop shopping studio.

Their competitors are doing very well on the charts by concentrating on a niche market.

Perhaps the stores just don't know MGMA as well as they know some of the other studios.

I wonder how aggressive MGMA is in developing relationships with distributors and retail stores. Are they making any quantity purchasing deals?

If MGMA bought RICK I think their exposure would grow quickly. Of course they would have to market themselves well.
