Juli, I posted short-term targets for ENPQ. A baseball player was the one you recall posting the glowing long-term targets for the stock. I did happen to post a followup to Madly's BUY post the day she did it when it was $.02 Ask. It ran to $0.55 Bid for a 20+ bagger. But so what?
.
ANMRW was a charm on P*. I posted maybe a dozen medium-term BUY signals, over three years, and a like number of sell signals. Most resulted in 50% to 500% gains. If you followed and parlayed even half of those P* ANMR recommendations you could be quite wealthy!
.
There were several negative ANMR posts at the end (beside the normal "SELL" posts throughout the period). I posted that when GE got out of their commitment to purchase $100 million of the product, that everything was different, and ANMR was not to be bought or held -- at about $2 and change.
This last one, yes was a loss. I think the last buy rec was about $3+ or $4+ and that "get out" post a year later was at about $2. Of course you'll remember from the $4 recommendation it ran to $7 before dropping to the $2 level. So even that was a winner, only I didn't post to "take profits" (except to those who said they were nervous) when it was up there. I held on, because I "knew" $100 million in sales made the stock worth $15 or more.
.
IMTKW, was always technical play, so there were no "glowing" reports from me. The rumors you saw posted about IBM or other contracts were by other people on P*. But I still have that one, I don't think I ever suggested it should be sold, and no, I'm not happy the way it turned out. So what is your point?
.
If your point is that the thoughts given sometimes don't pan out? Well that is right! Arrogant? Yep. On P* I would arrogantly say "buy this, for a 5 bagger", I'd get panned etc. And over and over again, the predicted price would eventually, short-tern, be met. No one said you had to buy, I probably just said people were "dumb" not too! ha ha! Again so what? I don't do that any more. After a string of 10 baggers in the last two years of good activity on P* and dwindling P* membership all that is over. Back then it was enjoyable, and there was a good group of people.
.
If you want to use me as a contra-indicator, that's fine. Some people have said they do that. Good Luck to you if it works for you.
At least I DO give an opinion, even if it is not as often as in the past. And it is usually a CLEARLY STATED ONE. You KNOW where I stand, right or wrong, I let it be known. I don't post little wishy "recommendations" and then no matter what happens come back and say "see, you shoulda listened to me".
.
I prefer reading someone with CONVICTIONS behind his CONCLUSIONS to someone not giving any clear direction... until after the stock has made its move. Don't you?
.
On changing my mind, I agree. On DCI, which I posted several BUYS and several SELLS, I think I have been as clear of where I stand when I post, at all times, and that after all it what THIS BB is supposed to be about, DCI!!!!! I mean, like clockwork, when DCI is down and just ready to reach a turning point, I'm here again on S.I. with the heads up. Let's stick to DCI, Okay?
.
