You heard correct,
if they find a weak one others can put all kinds of pressure on it,
via shorting it's holdings, & driving it's nav down, thus
causing people to avoid or withdraw from it, hence forcing it to
sell off stocks. We all tend to look for the better performing
funds, but a story might be had if we were to look at the ones
in trouble.
