Bill,

FNTN has been positioning them self for very wide business potential. This could be good and bad and it depends on management (I have worked for Video/Audio/Data Conferencing firm). In this case the management knows what to do at specific time, so more more possibilities in the future is to their advantage. Example would be Microsoft - if they offered Word processor, spreadsheet... at the beginning of they market penetration, companies like Lotus, ... would drive them out of business. Microsoft started smart, worked for years in basic technologies so nobody saw them as a problem. It took many years and incredibly large position in the market to be able to come up with Explorer and other products. FNTN seems to be doing the same, that is they use other firms for their quotes... and they concentrate on "Windows OS" like business in this case Intranet for government, financial firms and medical - kind of like Microsoft "gave" Windows OS to home users and small businesses first.
I also like the future expansion to Europe (1999 - 2000 as per PR). Europe is getting unified, so huge market is opening for services like FNTN provides.
All together the business is well positioned, now let the Marketing take what Engineering created and get some clients.

Radim

Bill, here's an example of company who's in the medical business mei.com (actualy this is my client as well). I don't what kind of service can FNTN provide for this industry but it is different from providing quotes or MLS.
