Even though I am seeing a continuing and broad deterioration of technicals over the past week, there are a group of important stocks holding. Also I found many to have their Stochs crossing its signal line for a buy signal even though none gave a definite indication of this yet.

So as long as we have a handful of key stocks in the market holding up, I cannot see a significant sell off yet. Instead, I see a possibility of a move up by the market next week. Stocks like DELL is holding up pretty well. But I do not see this move up being anything significant. I agree that the rally would be a good time to sell off long positions. I think on this rally we will find many traders who have positions in the market doing same thing. It will be important to watch and see if this is true with stocks like YHOO. The risk in this market for a long position is very significant except for the very short term trader who should be very willing to take profits.
