Thanks for posting the Economist article.

For those who may not have the time to read through the entire text, the last paragraph could perhaps serve as a summary:

"...My speculation has been that SAP is rapidly becoming 'the most important company' in the world.

My apologies to the thread for not distinguishing clearly enough between the Economist article and my own speculative point. Once again, it is purely my speculation and I am not an expert in ERP field - by any means. I was just glad to see the article mention 'ERP revolution' which I have been surmising. Would SAP be that important? I guess we will find out in about 10 years...
