jack,

I don't think that Vivus is in "a world of hurt". They have put all the major expenses/loses behind them in Q1 and Q2. All they have to do now is produce MUSE as cheaply as possible. Astra and Janssen will more than cover their expenses with some extra profit added. The real gravy is in the USA. The important question right now is exactly what is Vivus going to do with the domestic market. I think all the share holders do not want to wait much longer to hear what Vivus has planned. They either need to cut a domestic partner deal or sell the company. Time is of the essence and if Vivus thinks this decision can wait until the end of the year then I can only say that they are right on course to screw us shareholders over even more than we have already been screwed. As Colby said, "Thank you sir may I have another." I think this has become the Vivus share holder battle cry over the past 8 months.
