Thanks for the info on the ABC documentary. I actually saw some of it but obviously didn't see some of the most important parts. I agree, it is scary. We live in a time when some people command the levers to tremendously destructive power and they actually think they know what they are doing.

Hitler's rise to power rode on an unbelievable sequence of about 35 lucky decisions in a row (any one of which could have ended it for him, and probably should have because many of them were bad decisions but lucky partly because of the failure of others to take a stand against him) but, of course, it all convinced him he represented fate and could do no wrong.

In the sexual realm, Clinton, likewise, got away with so much he thought it would never be a problem for him. And probably most who ascend to peaks of power have been on some kind of lucky streak (but don't realize how lucky) and feel somewhat invulnerable without, too often, any compensating wisdom.
