To All: Michael is writing a book

I don't think I have seen anything on the thread regarding MSD writing a book. It was in Thursday's Austin-American Statesman. It is usually Bachman's (jbn3) to report these things.
Why haven't you, Bachman? MSD is writing "Direct from Dell: Strategies that Revolutionized an Industry" to be published in March.

RE: company is simply forbidden for making gains and losses on
transactions involving its own stock.

Marie,
I know this.
My point is that DELL is buying their stock at all time high prices.
If they ever need cash and do a secondary, it will have been a net drain on the cash flow statement.

In a nut shell,
I don't approve of what Dell did. IBM is doing the same thing and I don't approve there. Though IBM is bbetter positioned to get away with it over the long run.
