Tom, Thank you for your post. You and Jan are both class acts - both of you have contributed freely without reservation. We appreciate it. On a slightly different subject, as a subscriber to DWA (strictly cheap seats) is there a momentum indicator or a proxy momentum indicator that one could use? Does IBD's RS ranking serve as a good proxy? The problem with IBD's RS indicator is we do not know whether the RS is in an uptrend or a downtrend. I'm wondering if the P&F RS indicator coupled with IBD's RS indicator might serve as a reasonable momentum indicator. I would appreciate your, or anyone elses comment on this.
