Hmmmm. I'd argue with some of your conclusions, Tom. Non-shareholders can also be people who sold because the stock met their price target, and so got out, but are still interested. They can also be former shareholders who sold because they'd changed their minds about the investment; or potential shareholders who are still considering a purchase.
