exactly - north americans sometimes forget that Japan + China both have histories and memories far longer and bigger than ours. They don't just forget a slap from the past from the new kid on the block. Notice who is running Japan + China as well - it is not 30-40 yr old w/ small memories of the past wars - it's generally run by 'senior citizens' who remember all too well the wars and who did what.
