ADSL vs. Cable

I've been using a cable modem for the past year and would never go back. The speed difference between it and 56K service is incomparable. I believe that cable will achieve near-100% penetration in their service territories within the next 2-3 years. ADSL is too slow and costs too much, and is very late to the party. It will see some use in areas not offering cable but I doubt if you'll see it offered outside of metro areas.
